Daddy's Fuzzy Luggage (affectionally known as DFL by their adoring fans) live at the foot of Sausage Mountain, in Columbus, Ohio. The DFL boys were orignally drawn together in 1996 by their common love of glam metal, the movie "Airplane!", and softcore pornography. The resulting product was a genre-defying collage evident in songs like the hard-driving "Jimmy Bones," the psychadelic "Johnny Space Commander," or the whimsical, country-tinged "Three Midgets." The band enjoyed a strong local following, as comfortable performing at after-hours raves as they were opening up for MTV-2 teen heartthrobs Evan and Jaron (in front of screaming 15 year-old girls). Alas, there was no money in genre-defying collages, and DFL disbanded in 1999.

Buoyed by the success of musically diverse and lyrically humorous bands like Tenacious D, Beck, and awed by the longevity of Ween's career, Daddy's Fuzzy Luggage reunited early in 2005. DFL's newer songs are marked by dance-worthy grooves ("Metrosexxy," "Man Vs. Machine") while continuing to incorporate far-out genres like funk ("She Got Soul"), metal ("The Brown Note"), spaghetti western ("Wooly the Mammoth"), and Celtic Jigs ("Red Rover").
The Luggage released their debut EP "Sausage Mountain" on April 20, 2007. Rolling Stone calls it "an abomination," while Spin says "it's the only CD to ever give me a rash!" But who cares what those guys say. Get out there and see DFL for yourself. Often unpredictable and generally alcohol-impaired, the DFL live show is a must-see! As their old friend Charby says: Don't rock the cock block...rock it with your sock off!!!
